With the beyond the sea®, project Yves Parlier wants to develop traction by kite on the hydraplaneur and test other technical solutions based on natural energies.

Aquitaine Innovations

With his visionary spirit, in 1996 he was able to carry out the 1st trip round the world with no fossil fuels in his monohull Aquitaine Innovations. In 2000, he caught the imagination of the French by repairing his mast, alone on a deserted island off New Zealand. This is the first 60 foot monohull fitted with a mast-sail. This boat is presently sailing under the colours of Cervin EnR with the skipper Yannick Bestaven and will take part in the next Vendée Globe.
